About the artist

I have been an artist for almost 20 years, and what I treasure most is the freedom it allows: the chance to express emotions, to follow instinct, and to create something new whenever the mood takes me.

Colour and texture lie at the centre of my practice. They are my way of interpreting the world—whether it’s the shifting blues of the sea, the rugged forms of coastlines, or the distinctive light that makes the Isle of Wight so captivating.

For much of my career, I focused on producing work with selling in mind. More recently, I’ve allowed myself the space to paint from the heart, pursuing subjects that fascinate me. While the natural world remains a constant source of inspiration, I am also drawn to themes of modern social culture, where everyday life offers fresh patterns, rhythms, and stories.

My work ultimately reflects both place and perspective—an invitation to see the world through my eyes, translated into colour, texture, and feeling.
