So this is the bit I find difficult, I have never been a linguist, hated reading as a child. I had a bumper book with the most popular Disney stories filling in between the beautiful animations. I never once read it and still to this day have no idea what was going on in ‘Babes in the Woods’.

I think what I am trying to say is I have always been about the visuals or the ‘doing’. So as an adult that now largely means gardening, making sourdough bread and walking, and of course painting.

I have an absolute admiration for Hyperrealism, but have never had the desire, or skill to achieve this myself. I prefer to absorb my experiences and surroundings then allow whatever wants to come out to do so.

This is currently bouncing between abstracts and florals, colourful and then dark. All painted in acrylic and mixed media.

Hopefully some of you will enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy painting them.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have anything you would like to ask me about my work, I would love to her from you.

All the best
